How do Demons Get access into someone

How do Demons get into someone’s life (body) or family?

Demons are spirit beings and Man is also a spirit being. Genesis 1:26 Let us make man in our own image, Genesis2:7Man has His spirit 1Corinthians 2:9-11 and Job 32:8 also confirms there is a spirit in man and the spirit of the Almighty giveth them understanding and a soul which God placed in Him from creation,1St Thessalonians 5:23Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. Man therefore has a spiritual body which is different from the physical life in which he lives as well as the body in which the spirit dwells. Hebrew 4:12.

The body deals with senses touch smell hearing taste
The soul, imagination, conscience memory Reason and affections
God relates with man through his spirit for God Himself is spirit John 4:24
John 32:8 makes us understand it is the spirit in a person, the breath of the almighty that gives them understanding.
This therefore means man in ordinary self and spirit cannot understand the things of God for they are foolishness unto him 1stCorinthians 2:14.You can therefore discern these things when you are born again and your spiritual eyes are open. Or when you experience regeneration and the spirit of God takes control of your life and you are no more yielding to your spirit but to the spirit of God. Romans 8:16 .John 1:12-14 tell us we are now born unto the spirit of God and now belong to the family of God which by our human spirit we could not because it causes us to sin and leads us to our own destruction. It means going to church actually does not necessarily mean you have experienced this spiritual rebirth until repentance and being born again brings the individual under total divine control and protection by His Spirit.
Satan understands and operates through your soul which he gains control and overpowers you. Going to church where the Spirit of God is not evident is a guarantee that you will continually be bound and accessed by as many spirit and demons at will. You are still His captive and He will ride you as his horse for his sport until he rips you off your soul.

Demons therefore have spiritual power from their master the devil just as we Christians have spiritual power from Jesus. Luke 9:1, When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases.. Matthew 28:18.

Man is therefore a spirit being with spiritual potentials to counter every other satanic spirit but the choice to develop spiritual power and authority will depend on your spiritual environment, your church, your spiritual mentors, your pastors, and your personal walk with God with a firm desire and commitment.
 Because man is body spirit and soul, these will eventually have an impact on the spiritual atmosphere that surrounds him bearing in mind the fact that what so ever man does, watch, touch, or where he goes to will definitely have a positive or negative impact in the realms of the supernatural as well as in a person’s personal life and relationship with God.

One of Jesus Doctrine that the church avoids to deal with is dealing with the devil. Either the ignorance has propelled many to avoid it or the fear of the unknown.
Jesus mission is announced in Isaiah as coming to set the captive’s free. The question is from what or from who?
Many have heard from sickness, curses, demons etc. but few want to associate this with the works of the devil. Science has made a way of escape for many to agree with their conditions and circumstances as some sort of psychological problems. Or attribute demonic sickness to environmental changes
Many wealthy people even Holly Wood stars talk of their demons but have no major answers of overcoming them. They turn to counselors and many rehab facilities seeking help with the so called demons of their lives
if a demon is a spirit then only the Spirit of God can overcome it because He exists in another kingdom that has or operates in contrary roles and power from the kingdom of the demons.

When Satan disobeyed and rebelled against God in Heaven, he and ¾ angels were thrown out of heaven. These are often referred to as fallen angels. God never took power from them. They caused the fall of man in the Garden of Eden and have continued to gain physical and spiritual access into lives of people churches businesses. The devil is the ruler of this age. 2ndCorinthians 4:4.John 10:10 they come to kill to steal and to destroy.

How do demons gain access to your life
Anything that lives in you has challenged you by the following
They have a legal right to enter based on History or DNA of your family
They have a legal permission and have adequate information on entry point or the person has personally opened a door for them to gain access into their life.

  1. Sin Exodus 20:5, Deuteronomy 5:9
  2. Breaking of covenants, oaths
  3. Curses
  4. Habits,
  5. Character, prideful, forgiveness, anger, rebellion
  6. Ignorance of God’s word
  7. Disobedience
  8. Satanic involvements initiations, occult, cursed objects, cursed buildings

How can I know spirits or demons live in me or my family?

  1. Repeated cycles in your life or family
  2. Suicidal thoughts
  3. Miscarriages
  4. Not married
  5. Sickness
  6. Can’t conceive
  7. Uncontrolled anger
  8. Addiction
  9. Homosexuality
  10. Lesbianism

What kind of deliverance do I need?

Job 5:19 from evil
Matthew 8:16

Understanding and operating in spiritual principles https://kingdomeagleschurchusa.org/understanding-and-operating-in-spiritual-principles/ https://kingdomeagleschurchusa.org/understanding-and-operating-in-spiritual-principles/#respond Thu, 20 Feb 2025 17:14:01 +0000 https://kingdomeagleschurchusa.org/?p=417  Understanding and operating in Divine Principles

Kingdom of God operates according to spiritual laws set in motion by God and described in detail in His Word.sowing and reaping applies to every area of life, not just your finances. Whatever you sow in life
Why do we look at sowing and reaping as a principle because they contain both natural and spiritual laws that work together to provoke a measure of harvest.
That measure is not hidden,
It is a good measure as well as it is a guaranteed harvest.
Whenever you have a need, plant a seed. When a farmer looks at his barren fields, he doesn’t gripe about it. He just goes out and starts planting some seed. If he only has a little bit of seed, he has a choice. He can either hoard it, or he can give it away. If he holds onto it, that’s all he’s got. If he gives it away, God will multiply it.
This sounds illogical — to give away when you have a need so that you will get more back. But that’s why it’s faith! God says the way you get is by giving, not by holding on.
 Sowing and reaping is a law of the natural world. On the third day of creation, God commanded the earth to bring forth living plants “bearing seed” and fruit “with seed in it” (Genesis 1:12). These plants were then given to man for food (verse 29). Ever since the beginning, man has understood the process of sowing and reaping and has applied it to his benefit.
God warned Israel that, if they forsook Him and pursued idols, the law of sowing and reaping would be suspended and their crops would fail (Leviticus 26:16b). This happened to disobedient Judah on a couple occasions (Jeremiah 12:13; Micah 6:15).

“The one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward” (Proverbs 11:18b), but “whoever sows injustice reaps calamity” (Proverbs 22:8a).

Genesis 8:22
“While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, And cold and heat, And summer and winter, And day and night Shall not cease.”
Mark 4:26-29– And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
2 Corinthians 9:10
He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.

Matthew 13:1-58
That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat beside the sea. And great crowds gathered about him, so that he got into a boat and sat down. And the whole crowd stood on the beach. And he told them many things in parables, saying: “A sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them. Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, since they had no depth of soil, …

“He that sows littleshall reap little; and he which sows generouslyshall reap also generously.” [2Cor:9:6]

Backsliding – Growing cold in Christ https://kingdomeagleschurchusa.org/backsliding-growing-cold-in-christ/ https://kingdomeagleschurchusa.org/backsliding-growing-cold-in-christ/#respond Thu, 20 Feb 2025 17:13:35 +0000 https://kingdomeagleschurchusa.org/?p=415 Have you Back Slided

The undying love of God towards His people is one of the issues of concern I want to focus on in our community believing The Lord for a radical U Turn of brethren who after experiencing Jesus, God’s power and presence have wondered away from the Lord. So come let us reason together.The word backslide literally means “turn away from God, 1 st kings 11:9 which declare that,” And the Lord was angry with Solomon because His heart was turned from the Lord God of Israel, who had appeared unto him twice, verse 10 declares, And had commanded him concerning this thing that he should not go after other Gods: but he kept not that which the Lord had commanded.” Turn away from your first love Rev 2:4″Nevertheless i have somewhat against you, because you have left your first love.” Galatians 1:6″Paul declares “I marvel that you are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel. Which is not another: but there be some that trouble you, and pervert the Gospel of Christ. Paul continues in chapter 3″O foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been openly set forth, crucified among you? This only would i learn of you, received you the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by the hearing of faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the spirit, are you now perfect by the flesh? Have you suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain? He therefore that ministers to you the spirit and works miracles amongst you, does he it by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith? 1st Timothy 5:15″For some are already turned aside after Satan or to evil Psalms 125:5 or to the desires of this world 2nd Timothy 4:10″ For Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed unto Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia Titus unto Dalmatia. Only Luke is with me. The scripture metaphorically describes backsliding state as serving two masters at the same time, turning aside like a deceitful bow Jeremiah 14:7″O Lord, though our iniquities testify against us, do it for, do it for your name sake for our Backslidings are many we have sinned against you”, away fallen growing cold, departing from faith, putting the hand on the plow and looking back” Luke 9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No Man, having put his hand on the plow and looking back is fit for the kingdom of God”,” salt that has lost its savor” Matthew 5:13″You are the salt of the Earth :but if the salt has lost its savor, how shall it be salted? it is therefore Good for nothing than to be cast out and to be trodden under foot of men. A backsliding person is like a dog returning to its vomit proverbs 26:11 or a dead branch. John 15:6″if a man abides not in me, he is cast forth, as a branch and is withered and men gather them and cast them into fire, and they are burnt. Backsliding however is simply a way of life by a Christin who is living an ungodly life. This might never seem to be a problem to the individual unless a word from the Lord comes to Him OR HER “EXAMINE YOUR SELVES IF YOU ARE IN THE FAITH.2nd Corinthians 13:5. I tell you the truth, the backslider does not suddenly wake up one morning and go out and backslide. Permit me duel hear on the desire of the flesh. You will agree with me that before a backslider commits adultery or fornication, over a period of time he must have been weak in his spiritual life. Not praying as before, watching and talking with friends about sex unconsciously taken by bad companion. King David watched Bathsheba undress and before he knew it he did not only commit adultery with her but made a set up for her husband to be killed so that He may have her for himself. Backsliding therefore begins with a general feeling of spiritual indifference because as we fail to focus on spiritual things the flesh seeks fulfillment. This issue is imperceptible in the life of the backslider who continues to ignore God’s appeal to return thereby causing our souls to subside to a sense of guilt and Hypocrisy. In time, though the love of God remains, the fear of the Lord departs setting a complete reordering of our priorities, If the fear of the Lord departs, it is but obvious that the wisdom of the world takes over. Suddenly the backslider will unconsciously be taken into sin and it becomes easy to justify actions which normally we couldn’t have considered acceptable in God’s site. As for one who had been delivered from demons or control from spirits, the tendency is that demons fly back and take overseven times than it was before. A prostitute for example will get in to a state of addiction and before you know it drug, aids smoking or become a member of a Gang. As our spiritual consciousness is low, our sense for Guilt becomes very little. The truth is that the Further we stray from the Lord, the more distant is the voice of God and the more difficult it is to find our way back. An over confidence in one’s Former standing with God can falsely convince the individual that God will overlook his present conduct. You often hear Christians talk of when i gave my life to Christ i use to do this in church. Their spiritual testimonies are now in past tense.(I use to)Some parents due to the system of church in America and the crazy work schedules can only talk of “when i was Hosea 7:2″And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own deeds have surrounded them, they are before my face. Some have a propensity to falter. They keep on backsliding Hosea 11:7″And my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt him. ”Jeremiah 8:5″WHY then have this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? They hold fast to deceit, they refuse to return. Verse 6″I hearkened and heard, but they spoke not a right: no man repented himself of his wickedness, saying, what have i done? Every one turned to his own course, as the horse rushes into the battle. Hebrew 3:10 declares” Therefore i was grieved with that generation, and said, they do always err in their heart; and they have not known my ways” .Even as we vary in our degrees of spirituality some are prone to falling as a degree of choice. I tell you the Truth; our spiritual lives require a conscious effort to build and to protect as the devil will always step in while we are physically weak to handle certain critical issues. I was in Hongkong 2004 left with nothing for a daily bread running away from my call when i was really hungry and survived on coffee in the hotel in which i lodged for days. A call for help from home was slow and a helping hand from some acquaintances and though they were not willing to help some prostitutes were eager to help with a price of me compromising my faith and defiling my body.  It is such situations that people who love and trust God find themselves at the mercy of the enemy and compromise. This compromise breaks our connection with the Holy Spirit and to the voice of God.  Jesus likewise was tempted by the devil when he was physically week but by the grace and the spirit of the Lord that endowed him with the word and wisdom He prevailed, Matthew 4:1-11.Before Judas could betray Jesus remember he was in charge of the treasurer John 12″4-6,he was a thief and with little efforts he sold His Master. Backsliding can be seen in your thought life , speech jealousy, hatred, envy, bitterness, unforgiveness, no fellowship, drinking ,smoking fornication, adultery, night clubbing etc. Although backsliding begins in the mind and heart, the conditions gradually become eminent. As a backslider we turn to worship the Lord our God with our lips and our mouth but our hearts are far away from him Isaiah 29:13 And the Lord said, because this people come near to me with their mouths, and give honor to me with their lips, but their heart is far from me, and their fear of me is false, a rule given them by the teaching of men. Titus 1:16″They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him , being abominable and disobedient and to every good work reprobate. If our lives fail to measure up to the Christ we profess, then our words are obsolete.1st Timothy 5:8 declares. But if any provide not for his own and especially for those of His house, He has denied the faith, it is worse than an unbeliever. Backsliding in scriptures. 1st Samuel 15:11,26-28Amos ,2nd kings 21:22,23,joash,2nd chronicles 24:24 Solomon 1st king 11:4,9,David,from lost led to drunkenness, adultery and even murder as i earlier mentioned. 2nd Samuel11:1-5,13; 12:1-13. Backsliding may lead us into severe consequences even if our sins are forgiven. David suffered tremendously as a result of this ungodly union with Bathsheba. His anguish of heart as one who experienced the presence of God but abandoned His ways is expressed in psalms 51:1-19 AND PSALMS 61:10-12. Many disciples of Jesus turned away and walk not with Him. Math 26:56 John 6:66,Thomas wanted to see for himself, peter denied him three times, Peter took other disciples instead of fishing men ;he went back to the sea to fish. Paul also spoke in the Corinthian church not to depart from their faith 1st Corinthians 5:1-13,2nd Corinthians 12:20,the Galatian church. Beloved, as wide as this concern of backsliding is, it is just to open up our knowledge or awareness on our spiritual standing. Are you really in Christ, have you fallen, grown cold, backslided. Are you in tune with biblical teachings; are you an imitator of Christ? Are you ready to do something about your spiritual state,?  Are you ready to repent, there is still away so come back to you father. The Lord has His ARMS READY FOR YOU Hosea 14:1-7 Declarers’ “O Israel return unto the Lord your God for you have fallen because of your iniquity. Take with you words and say unto him, Take away all my iniquity and receive us graciously: so we will offer the sacrifice of our lips. Verse 4,”I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely for my anger has turned away from him. Verse 7, they that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shallbe revived as the grain and grow as the vine, their scent shall be as the vine of Lebanon.” Isaiah 53:6.All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him. The prodigal son realized how far he had strayed from the father made up His mind Luke 15.As far as we are from the Lord, He uses some extreme measures to bring us back, sickness misery, grief,(psalms 107, 2nd kings 17 :15)Isiah 1:5,6 Jeremiah 3:22Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God. OUR God Is READY TO HEAL YOU FROM YOUR backsliding if you return with a repentant heart. Deuteronomy 4:29,2nd Chronicles 28:29, Jeremiah 31:20;36:3. His patience towards those who keep on backsliding is limited Jeremiah 15:6, proverbs 24:16; Hosea 11:7 Some have gone far beyond any place of repentance Isaiah 1:5-6; Jeremiah 6:30;15:1 Ezekiel 22:18…… The Lord will reject us if we reject Him but His desire for us to return has never faded. Complete restoration is on its way for you. If you can make a U turn from that life you are living, that ideology, that rebellious attitude, at ignorance and walk back to the father then He will Heal you. You might have thought of your sins and say they can’t be forgiven please call now and lets table our request before the Lord.Isaiah1:18″Come now, let us reason together,”
says the LORD.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool.
May this word circumcise your heart, may you allow your mind to be transformed Romans12:1-3-1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God. this is your spiritual[a] act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is his good, pleasing and perfect will. For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.

May you have peace and begin to experience the fullness of His abundance and Blessing in the Kingdom.

Reservoir of prayer https://kingdomeagleschurchusa.org/reservoir-of-prayer/ https://kingdomeagleschurchusa.org/reservoir-of-prayer/#respond Thu, 20 Feb 2025 01:31:22 +0000 https://kingdomeagleschurchusa.org/?p=412 Pray effectively part 1
Churches grow when people pray effectively to get people saved, receive resources, remove barriers and enrich the service of Christ” Prayer is an essential link in the influence that leads to a revival as much so as truth is. Some have zealously used truth to convert men and laid very little stress on prayer. They have preached, talked and distributed tracks with great Zeal and then wondered that they had so little success. And the reason was that they forgot an effective prayer. They overlooked the fact that the truth by itself will never produce the effect without the spirit of God and that the spirit is given in answered prayer.
      Prayer is a channel through which man communicates with God. It is the key that can transforms an individual’s life or a nation, into fulfilling God’s destiny. The truth is that you cant fulfill your destiny without developing a strong prayer life. John 10:10 declares I have come that you may have life and life in abundance, but the devil comes to kill to steal and to destroy.”Job 1:6-7.Great men have fallen, kings, families and countries being destroyed as a result of a weak prayer life and ignorance that we have an adversary whose strategies are opposite to our eternal blessing. It is therefore in our communion with God through effective prayers that we may have contact with the spiritual to make the physical realized.
    Prayer is a petition  to God as a result of our relationship and fellowship with Him(Philippians 1:9,Ephesians 6:18,Heb 13:8).
   It is a request to God, (Matthew 7:7)
   It expresses our deep desire or need to God(Luke 10:2,22:32)
  Prayer calls upon God for help (Acts 7:59, Romans 10:13)
  Prayer pleads with God for results Romans 8:27, Romans 11:2, Heb 7:25
Request for God’s intervention at battle  or for favor from a desire.

It is the key that can transforms an individual’s life or a nation, into fulfilling God’s destiny. You can’t fulfill destiny without developing an effective prayer life. John 10:10, Job 1:6-7.Great men have fallen, kings, families and countries being destroyed as a result of a weak prayer life and ignorant of the adversary whose strategies are opposite to our eternal blessing. It is through effective prayers that we access the spiritual to make the physical realized. Many have taken wishes to be prayers, and some without any kind of believe still claim they pray. Others have a weak prayer life and are constantly challenged. Prayer is the engine that sustains your walk with God. The first thing Jesus taught his disciples was how to pray and the importance of fasting in prayers. I challenge you to develop an effective prayer life and you will see what God can do when you pray.

Kinds of Prayer

There are many kinds of prayer realized in the scriptures made by individuals or groups of people confronted by different circumstances. Before we dig deep into kinds of prayer, let us look at the life of Jesus as a role model of prayer. In Matthew 3:16, the Bible announces the Spirit of God descending upon him. In Chapter 4:1 the Bible declares “Then Jesus was led up by the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil, And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights. He therefore went on a retreat to pray without being in contact with anybody because he wanted to communicate with his father. The spirit was with him. In Matthew 6:9-14 and Luke 11:2-4.Jesus taught  us how to adore our father and worship him. After teaching the Lords prayer he taught about fasting which goes along side with effective prayers. His prayer life grew from strength to strength whenever he was about to face a challenges or as much as he was drawing nearer to His crucifixion. He moved away from the crowed to the mountain top or isolated himself to pray to His father.
Prayer of confession is a route to answered prayers. That is Our prayers cannot be heard by God before being answered. Prayer of confession paves the way for forgiveness of sins. Romans 3:23,Romans 1:8-10
Prayer of worship is for God just as we adore him.
Prayer of agreement for communion
Prayer for petition for things
Prayer for salvation for sinners to be saved
Prayer for intercession for others Ezekiel 22:30, Daniel 9:4-61
Prayer of Thanksgiving   Philippians 4:6, John 11:40-44,1stThessalonians 5:18
 finally prayer of faith, for miracles. Mark 11:24 Mark 11:24
 24Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believes that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. John 16:23 John 16:23-24 23In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 24Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.There are some conditions of prayer
1.)God responds to our prayers when we are yielded to him( Mark 14:36;1John 5:14)
2.)God responds to our prayer when we pray in Jesus name  John 14:13,14;15:16
3.)God respond ‘s to our prayers when we pray with faith Hebrew 11:6
4.)God responds to our prayers when we are abiding in Christ maturing and abiding in the word of God John 15:7
5.)God responds to us when we are persistent in prayers Luke 18:1 and Colossians 4:2 1stSamuel 1:9-17
6.)God responds when we humble ourselves in prayer, psalms 10:17, Luke 18:14 and have a proper reverence, psalms 145:19
7.)God responds to our prayers when we pray in sincerity psalms 145:18
8.)God responds to our prayers when we are united with others in prayer, Matthew 18:19,Acts 12:4
9.)God responds to our prayers when we pray with great intensity Acts 12:4,luke 22:44,Romans 15:30, Colossians 4:12
Everyone therefore needs an effective prayer life to help us in our weaknesses and keep us firm in our relationship with God. We pray because God works through the power of our prayer. James 5:16 declares the prayer of a righteous man availed much. Romans 8:2626In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.
 Ephesians 6:18 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
Be specific in prayers mark 10:46-52 Blind Bathemaious asked for his site.
Be specific in your confessions, tell God what you did Daniel 9:4-19, psalms 32:5-7.
Praise and worship before you pray opens up a good channel for your communication with God for praise and worship moves God into Action 2ndChronicles20,Acts 16:22-27,Paul, and Silas prayed in prison, and used their chains for music, the walls of Jericho Joshua 6: Hebrew 11:30-31
Hindrances to answered prayers

Intercessory prayer
Intercessory prayer is Gods all powerful agency for the outpouring of the spirit. No revival has ever yet been given apart from this ministry.
a.)Communion prayers are talking with God about things of common concern but not necessarily making specific requests for divine intervention.
b.)Petition prayers are asking or requesting prayers.
c.)Intercession is therefore an outgrowth of the communion and petition prayers and reaches out on behalf of others.
d.)An intercessor identifies himself with the one whom he was praying just as Jesus numbered himself among the transgressors.
e.)An intercessor agonizes himself just as Jesus agonizes in the garden of Gethsemane.
f.)An intercessor prays with authority knowing he can and will influence God with his prayers. For intercession is a Christian service. And experience. Jesus engaged in intercession Heb 7:25,Holy spirit is an intercessor Romans 8:26. Intercession is the act of going on behalf of someone else who needs help from Almighty God, to be merciful and gracious unto someone else and not self.
1.      It most cases it is prayer for those whose situations or circumstances need the mercy and grace of God’s immediate attention.
2.      Intercession touches the very heart of God, the Ministry of Jesus and the help of the Holy Spirit.
3.      Intercession requires a giving up and giving unto, as act of God’s love, mercy and compassion.
4.      The intercessor must be ready and sensitive to God at all times, totally yielded to Him, and willing to be touched by the infirmities of someone else.
5.      Intercession requires you to become selfless, forgetting about your needs, desires and wants.
Intercession will turn an ordinary church into a growing church. The purpose of intercession is to Secure Healing (James 5:14-16);
Avert Judgment (Numbers 14:11-21);
Insure Deliverance (I Samuel 7:5-9);
Give Blessings (Numbers 6:23-27);
Obtain Restoration (Ezekiel 22; Job 48:8-10);
Encourage Repentance (Romans 10:1-4);
Draw Nearer to God as Abba Father to Change His Mind (Exodus 32:7-14).Intercession reaches all the way to heaven and throughout all eternity. In Jeremiah God did not receive prayers because of disobedience and worship of idols.
(Jeremiah 7; 11:7-12; 11:13-18 and 11:19:22).
An intercessor is a born-again believer, who has been washed in the Blood of Jesus; One who intercedes on behalf of others; Who is God fearing and willing to sacrifice his schedule, time and plans for another;
Who does not mind being interrupted by the Holy Spirit for prayer;
Who has a heart after God’s own heart;
Who lives a life of repentance and is sanctified unto God, holy and set apart for God;
An intercessor is confident that God hears his prayers and will answer them.
              An Intercessor must have    unconditional love, The same God is doing good work in all.   It is a divine privilege to be used by God to pray for someone. We are our brother’s keeper and have a good knowledge of God’s word for praying with the word is powerful and ushers in help from angels in heaven that take charge over us.
   The Word of God says in Isaiah 34:16 to seek out the book of the Lord and read. We must read to know what to say.
  We must meditate so we can believe what we speak.
  We must speak to release the power. Knowledge of God’s Word is the only way to know your blood-bought rights   and authority against the devil.
Kinds of intercessors
1.)Entry level intercessor :This is one who has the desire to pray but has no good knowledge on how to go about praying.
2.)Core intercessors or fire band: These are equipped with the word and empowered to cast out demons and do war fare at every level or dimension with confidence for in them lies the spirit of an over comer, prevailing in prayers ,boldness of the lion etc
3.)Amour intercessors: These are a team of three to 7 people who intercede for the pastors for a continual flow of the anointing during the service and increase as well as from attacks from the enemy. They have a burden to pray continually for a covering for the man of God from God.

Attributes of an Intercessor

Spiritual warfare or prevailing prayers
To prevail is to be successful in the face of difficulties, to completely dominate, to overcome and triumph. Prevailing prayer is prayer that pushes right through all difficulties and obstacles, drives back all the opposing forces of Satan and secures the will of God. Its purpose is to accomplish God’s will on earth. Prevailing prayer is prayer that not only takes the initiative but continues on the offensive for God until victory is worn.  We must overcome Satan in his battle for souls of men and attempts to corrupt and confuse the believer(1stchronicles 21:1;Matthew 16:33;Luke 9:55-56.We must also always prevail in prayer for our selves in this regards 2ndCorinthians 12:7.Prevailing prayers is therefore the human means of obtaining spiritual power for ministry Luke 11:13 and other Blessings from God Such as revival Luke 18:1-8.
We need to prevail against the weaknesses of the flesh, Matthew 26:41
We need to prevail against Satan in spiritual conflict for souls of men. John 14:30, Ephesians 2:2; 6:11-12,1stJohn 4:4 and 5:19
There are times when we must prevail before God because God wants to test our sincerity in prayers before he responds with a quick answer Matthew 15:21-28.
How to prevail in prayers
1.)you must be willing to spend much time in prayers and build a reservoir of prayer that is praying with the Holy Spirit and praying in accordance with His will and leading Ephesians 6:18;Jude 20, and also pray with the sense of determination., that is praying with your whole being Jeremiah 29:13 and finally pray with great intensity, Romans 15:30.
Spiritual Warfare and the “Devil and His Devil Spirits”
     The devil or Satan is the god of this world system and is called “evil” in 1 John 5:19 as demonstrated above.  The idea that the devil is the god of this present age in which we live is confirmed in the gospel of Luke, when Jesus was led into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.  We read,

Luke  4:5 – 8:And he [the devil] led him [Jesus] up, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, To thee will I give allthis authority, and the glory of them: for it hath been delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship before me, it shall all be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, It is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
      This position of Satan was obtained when both Adam and Eve ate of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, being tempted of the devil in the Garden of Eden.  The lure of the temptation of Adam and Eve was to be like God. Satan hates God and His creation and seeks to win humanity over for its destruction. All dominion over the earth was originally given to Adam and Eve, but because of their sin, all of humanity and nature itself fell under the destruction and power of the devil.  All of God’s creation, the plants, the animals, sea life, and of course humanity itself began to suffer and die. This account is found in the first 3 chapters of the book of Genesis.  The sins of Adam and Eve brought the curse of sin to all the earth, in which we have our redemption only in Christ.  It is only Christ, the Son of God, Who suffered the penalty of this curse to set us free and bring us back to God; therefore Christ is the only way in which we can be saved.
    Satan, who is the author of all sin, sickness and death, was once a beautiful angel of God, but fell from his original position when he attempted to overthrow God so that he himself would be glorified as God. These records are found in the Old Testament in the prophetic books of both Isaiah 14:12-17 and Ezekiel 28: 12-19. Satan’s original name before his rebellion against God was Lucifer.

However, below is a brief summary of an account of Satan’s rebellion towards God found in Isaiah chapter 14, he said,
1. I will ascend unto Heaven.
2. I will exalt my throne above the angels of God.
3. I will sit also upon the mountain of the congregation.
4. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds.
5. I will be like the Most High.
    Instead, Satan was overthrown by God, however, he took one-third of the angels with him and he won power over the souls of humanity. Defeated in his quest to overthrow God, he decided he would attack God by overthrowing humanity, in which he did by causing Adam and Eve to also rebel against God. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem the world from the powers of darkness and the curse that fell upon mankind as a result of their sin, and will save anyone who calls upon the name of Christ.
     To be more than a conqueror in Christ over the powers of darkness, those who have accepted Christ as their Savior, must first understand that they are saved by grace and not by works. When we receive God’s Holy Spirit we are given spiritual life, a new nature,  that no person on this earth can create for themselves by good works. We can never redeem ourselves or make ourselves good enough to be saved. This is a life giving gift from God and God alone, and is freely given to those who ask Christ to save them. Salvation is a one time act.
     By our understanding of the aforesaid, we can see that ultimately our spiritual warfare is against the principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. The Apostle Paul gives us this scripture in a letter he wrote to the Ephesians’ church, he states,

Eph 6:12For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
     Our battle against the devil is a battle against good and evil, the goodness and power of God against the evil and power of the devil. Therefore we are in direct conflict with the god of this world, “the devil.” He has power over the world and the flesh and is our ultimate enemy. However, we are promised the victory in Christ!

Many people have come to Christ and yet have not had an encounter with Jesus. This for reasons being that, some come to Christ being driven by circumstances beyond their control, stress, fear, hurt, witches, etc. and they deem it necessary to seek a new relationship with him for a solution. As a result of this, many in the spiritual race Heb 12:1, 1 Corinthians 9:24 get so tired, get frustrated and give up. These lessons will guide you to dig deep into your spiritual foundation, destroy the old and ask Jesus to help you in establishing a new foundation, built on a solid rock that will stand the test of every season. Read this lesson John 3:1-7, why did Jesus ask us to be born again? Wasn’t Nicodemus a follower and a believer in him as a teacher sent from God? What does it mean to be born again? Born again is a spiritual and moral transformation as a result of an individuals conscious rejection of sin and Satan in all His ways through repentance and inviting Christ to live in you by the Holy Spirit.

Why must we be Born Again?
There is no way we can talk of being born again without talking of What God intended for us in His divine plan.
1.) In Genesis 1:27-31 God created Man in His image and made him ruler in the earth.
2.) Man through disobedience lost his position of dominion (Genesis 2:16-20) Genesis 3:1-24
.3.) All humanity became enslaved by sin(Romans 3:23, Isaiah 53:6,Romans 6:23
4.) Man became spiritually dead and blind to the things of God Jeremiah 17:9,
Romans 8:6-8, Ephesians 2:3
5.) It is therefore by his grace through Christ Jesus that we are reconciled or can be
reconciled with God to enter into the kingdom ofGod.9John 3:3-5.1t is therefore through
new birth that we are set free from sin and the sentence of death and restored to our
Originality in dominion, glory and honor Romans 3:21-26.
6.) Isaiah 64:6, your best action is like filthy racks before God.
7.) We need to be born again because the kingdom of God is at hand. Matthew 4:17, Luke5:22
8.) If we say we have not sinned we make his word a Liar 1st’John 1:8
9.) we need to be dead to sin Romans 6: 11
10.) No one is put right with God by obeying the law Romans 3:20
:Isaiah 1:18 says come let us reason together.
 Because sin Lord’s itself over us, John 8:34
God in His Redemptive Purpose
After the fall of man, in the Garden of Eden, wickedness or sin grew on earth Gen 4: 1-16
Gen 6:5~8, Man tried to be like God Genesis 11:1-9, Genesis 19:1.God raised
Abraham in Genesis 12: 1-3, Genesis 17 and in Genesis 46 God asked Jacob to go to Egypt (Israel goes to Egypt) where they are oppressed and God raises Moses to deliver them. Yet after deliverance, they still rebelled against Moses and His God .God establishes another covenant with
Moses. A conditional covenant Deuteronomy 8: 1-20 Blessings if you obey 28: 114 and curses if you disobey Deuteronomy 28: 15-68 because of Israel’s disobedience God allows them into the hands of the enemies. Israel’s continual disobedience rejects God as their king and asked for their own king. 1st Samuel 8:1 and 9:1.. .. And the Lord rejects Saul as king l ” Samuel 15:l.Davidanointed king over Judah 2nd Samuel 2: 1-7 in 2 Samuels’: 1 David is made king over Israel. But in chapters 11 David commits adultery with Bathsheba Uriah’s wife. David makes Solomon asking who builds a temple of God. From the time of Samuel, God started speaking to His people through prophets who stood as foretellers and forth tellers .Fore telling and warning about the future of God’s eminent destruction of His people. Then rose Elijah, Elisha 2 kings 13Israel is ruled by succession of kings and finally in 2kings 17:7 Israel is exiled because of sin.
Prophet Isaiah came calling for Israel to turn back to God as well as other prophets, Jeremiah,
Ezekiel, Daniel etc. God promise for Deliverance .As a result of Gods disappointment with man, he revealed through Isaiah the coming of our Lord Jesus and finally Jesus came as the perfect one through which we can be reconciled with him. In math chapter 1, we see the Genealogy of Jesus that make us to see him as an Israelite, the circumstances the surround His birth and confirmation as the new born king. In chapter 3 we see John the Baptist preparing the way MATH 3: 1-12.
:John 3: 16 God’s love
What did Jesus do for you on the cross, for without the message of the cross that spells out his reason for His coming; crucifixion, death and burial we are preaching another Gospel.

Any Christian that cannot spell out the message of the cross has not fully yielded to the will of the father; it is our identity that comes before our wants! And our needs as we strife towards the kingdom.(Kiven)
1.) He came to redeem us from the destruction of sin 2nd Corinthians 5:21, Galatians 3: 10-13 and by his crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection, he freed us from Satan’s bondage  John 8:36.He laid down his life for His friends. John 15: 13

f)Romans 10:9-10 with heart man believes and with mouth confession

through him.
Read the story of the prodigal son, we were once like him and lost our birth rights with our father Luke 15 but if we remember our position in the kingdom, His love for us, we can come home for reconciliation. Luke 15:1-that we may enjoy total restoration.
Receive Jesus into your heart by faith and thank God for saving you. If you have honestly pray for God to forgive your sins, and have invited Jesus into your heart, then you are born again. Luke 15:7 declares there is Joy in Heaven when each soul repents.
