PSALMS 116:12

Giving is only one of the ways by which we can show our appreciation or gratitude to God. However it appears to be one of the most debated areas of the bible on when to give, how to give, to whom should we give, what fraction, condition or attitude. It is important that before we give, there are certain parameters by which giving can be measured. This means giving is not based on how we want to give but give based on Divine laid down principles that emanate from his very nature(God Himself).It therefore carries much spiritual connotation that just a symbolic gesture. Giving to God is therefore a character of the heart that can be done right and provoke blessings or done wrong and provoke a curse.(Argument, because there are diverse opinions on curses).Giving Mimics and communicates gratefulness at another dimension combined with much honesty and power to demonstrate ones innermost satisfaction to God’s hand upon their lives. It is therefore a task that commands the genuine move of ones heart towards God for his goodness, love care, provision, protection, upliftment, etc. It is more of ones innermost character to show prove of their recognition of God at work in their lives. It is very very personal based on the dimension of spiritual understanding or maturity, faith and revelational knowledge, that will command a push into the supernatural and draw Gods attention to something they have not only obeyed to do but their form of obedience has moved God to respond even with more blessings. This therefore means anyone who is deep in the things of God will respond to God in the most foolish way, rejecting the different arguments and controversies and just honor God with all they got. Let us take a deep study from both Old and New Testaments , present logical arguments before we draw conclusions.(To Be Continued). 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
